I had the pleasure of dealing with Barrie and Shanti for work done in 2011. They re-upholstered very sentimental pieces and accurately captured the modern look I was after. They also custom-made patio covers for my outside lounge set which where tailored according to my specifications. We were on the verge of disposing of our once-beautiful leather lounge suite as it practically disintegrated in front of our eyes.
We were sincerely in doubt as to whether our lounge suite could ever be repaired to a semi-decent state, but you convinced us that you could restore it to its previous glory. Admittedly, were still skeptical but we believed that this was worth a try as to replace the lounge suite would have cost us in excess of R25,000.00.
When you returned it, we were absolutely ASTONISHED!!!!! You successfully managed to turn a PIG’S EAR into a SILK PURSE at practically a third of the cost that we would have paid should we have replaced it.
Barrie, you are truly a genius and your craftsmanship is beyond perfection. Furthermore, the fact that managed to totally recover a massive 3 seater, a two seater and a large occasional chair in 7 days was phenomenal!!!!!!
We will always recommend you – and you ONLY – to anybody that needs this kind of assistance and service. You should be proud of yourself and your staff, we are!!
